At Harton Regional Medical Center, we believe caring for the community doesn't stop at the walls of our operating rooms. We believe true caring reaches into the hearts of the community. For this reason, we are proud to be Coffee County's third largest employer. With nearly $1 million in local taxes and our ongoing support of local charities, Harton Regional is privileged to be an important part of the growing community we call home. Here are a few ways we gave 'Hart' in 2007:
- 625 jobs with an annual payroll of over $30,870,000
- Over $540,000 in city/county taxes and $435,600 in property tax
- Over 90 board certified physicians covering 16 specialties- providing the region's most diverse range of quality healthcare services
- 5,946 inpatient visits, 22,665 ER encounters, 31,967 outpatient visits, 830 births, and 5,035 surgical procedures
- Over $90,000 in charity contributions and sponsorship of American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, United Way and other local charities
As a part of our ongoing investment in the community, Harton Regional Medical Center is excited about the development of our new 59,000 square foot patient tower. Our new expansion will furnish our patients with private rooms, equip our physicians with more operating space and greater resources, and provide our community with the best medical care in the region- right here, close to home.
