From life-saving angioplasty and stent implantations, to our 64-slice CT, our commitment to providing quality interventional heart care is second-to-none.
The Heart Center offers an advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory with sophisticated diagnostic equipment and a group of full-time cardiologists. Heart and vascular problems are diagnosed and treated with advanced technology including cardiac catheterization, thallium scanning, peripheral angioplasty, electrocardiography, exercise EKG, 64 Slice CT Imaging, doppler vascular imaging, pulmonary functioning testing and 24-hour continuous holter monitoring.
The Heart Center has a full-service cardiac program in the area that provides both invasive and noninvasive services. We provide interventional techniques for stopping heart attacks before they can do more damage, and perform pacemaker and defibrillator implants. We also offer a full line of non-invasive cardic testing solutions including stress testing, holter monitors, EKG, and cardic CT.

Certified Chest Pain Center
Harton Regional is accredited for its excellence in meeting an extensive set of stringent criteria for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of chest pain symptoms.
The Society of Chest Pain Centers, a prestigious national organization promoting the rapid diagnosis and treatment of chest pain, has designated Harton Regional Medical Center’s Chest Pain Center as an accredited facility. This recognition means that our hospital meets or exceeds an extensive set of stringent criteria for treating chest pain patients.
Heart attack is the leading cause of death in the United States. While recent medical advances have reduced the damage and deadliness of heart attacks, success depends on a speedy implementation of the most advanced remedies. According to the Society of Chest Pain Centers, most people who come to the ER with chest pains are not experiencing a heart attack. Studies have shown that a small percentage of patients released from the ED have heart attacks at home. The Chest Pain Center model for ACS reduces unnecessary admissions and premature discharges. By following the Society's guidelines on personnel, equipment and systems, HRMC is optimally equipped to handle the challenge of properly diagnosing and treating patients experiencing chest pain.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death and a major cause of disability in the United States.
