Harton Regional Medical Center understands family members and friends are an important part of the healing process for our patients and we welcome you to visit. In order to provide for your comfort and care, visitors are asked to observe the following rules.
You may enter the facility through the main entrances located in the Outpatient Pavilion at the front of the hospital from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Emergency room entrance is open 24 hours a day. You must get a visitor’s pass from the ER if entering the facility after visiting hours. All other entrances are locked to comply with security standards and for your safety.
Visitors are asked to check with a nurse before bringing food or beverages to a patient. Visitors are requested to keep visits brief and speak softly.
If you are sick or have symptoms of sickness, please do not visit the patient.
Visitors are generally restricted to immediate family. Because of the intensity of care given in this area, 15-minute visits are recommended during the following times: 9:30 - 9:45 a.m., 11:30 - 11:45 a.m., 1:30 - 1:45 p.m., 3:30 - 3:45 p.m., 5:30 - 5:45 p.m., and 8 - 8:15 p.m.

Hospital visitors may dine in the cafeteria located on the first floor. We offer a full meal along with several grilled items. The cafeteria is open to the public as well as to hospital staff during the following hours:
Breakfast: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Supper is not served. We do offer a midnight grill from 12 - 1:30 a.m. During this time we also offer a full meal.
Vending machines for drinks and snacks are located on the first floor next to the visitor elevators. Additional machines are located in the front of the facility near the waiting area in the Outpatient Pavilion.
Guest trays can be purchased for $3.00 per meal. Please contact a hostess at (931) 461-4524 for more information.
Please do not park in fire lanes, reserved spaces, or spaces designated for ambulances. Parking lots are patrolled regularly by our Security Officers. Security Officers can be reached by calling (931) 393-7983. If you need to contact Security after hours, please contact the operator at (931) 393-3000.
Each patient has a direct phone number to their room that is given to the patient upon admission. If you do not know the patient's phone number, please call the operator at (931) 393-3000 and ask for the room number, or ask the patient's nurse.
Cell phones may be used at Harton Regional Medical Center. In certain areas you may be asked to turn off your phone so that it does not interfere with patient care. We ask that users be mindful of other patients and their families.
Smoking is restricted to designated smoking areas. For the location nearest you, please check with the nurse.
